Sup doods!

With Legion coming in later than sooner your GM and Officer core have gotten together and talked about the changes we want to make going forward. These changes are intended to streamline the guild as a whole and hopefully increase not only our performance in the upcoming tiers but also to help you as raiders to strive for improvement. Some of the new changes we will be making will be implemented at some point in time before Legion, while others will not take effect until release/post release. Below are the changes we will be making in the guild over time:

– 4 ranks will be assigned accordingly to raiders rather than our current 3: Trial raider, Raider, Senior Raider, and Elite Raider.
– We will be supplying raid materials for all ranks but trial in weekly quantities.
– Daily repairs will be much more substantial based on rank.
– Reward Points, or RP, will be awarded throughout each month and will result in a reward.

You all may be wondering, “To what degree will these be in?” We've got the answer! For each rank we will go more into detail about each aspect and what you should be expecting for your appointed rank.

Trial Raider-
– 2week minimum at this rank.
– Raid mats will NOT be supplied for this rank.
– 100% of base repairs will be allotted.
– RP can not be awarded to nor awarded by this rank.

Raider
– Indefinite time at rank until promoted only by GM/Os.
– 1 lockout worth of mats averaging at 20pots per raid night, 12hrs of flask, and 20foods per raid night.
– 200% of base repairs will be allotted.
– RP can be awarded to but not by this rank.

Senior Raider
– Indefinite time at rank until promoted/demoted only by GM/Os.
– 1 lockout worth of mats averaging at 20pots per raid night, 12hrs of flask, and 20foods per raid night.
– 300% of base repairs will be allotted.
– RP can be awarded to but no by this rank.

Elite Raider
– Indefinite time at rank until promoted/demoted only by GM/Os.
– Indefinite supplies allotted to this rank.
– Indefinite repairs allotted to this rank.
-- RP can be awarded to and by this rank.
These baselines are very broad but will give you all an idea of how they will work and what perks come with each rank. Let's delve a little deeper into each shall we?

Trail Raiders,
Being a Trail Raider is always tough, whether you are brand new to the guild or a returning member from a break. Trial Raider rank will also be serving as a rank we can return people to if they wish to swap roles in raid OR change characters all together. This ranks purpose is to see how well one can play their class/spec and give us, as a guild, a worry free period of time where we can asses the player individually. Trial raiders will have no rewards other than baseline daily repairs.

Raiders,
This rank is where we really start to put you under a spyglass and see what you can do. Raider ranks will remain at their rank until they prove to the GM/Os that they are better than the rank suggests, which, at this point we will either promote you or give you reasons as to why we haven't yet. Some expectations of being a raider are as follows:

– 90% attendance.
– Knows class/classes that are being piloted inside and out.
– Comes to raid ready (Mats, knowledge of fights, and good attitude).
– Willing to do any mechanics assigned proficiently with little error.

Senior Raiders,
As a Senior Raider we expect you to be everything that comes with being a core member of the raid team. Core raid spots are something we want people to compete for. Class competition and role competition is a great way to improve one's skill set and your fellow raiders skill sets. Senior Raiders will be promoted just as raiders were, but with a little closer eye. The following are perks and responsibilities you can expect with being a Senior Raider:

– 95%+ attendance.
– Knows class/classes that are being piloted inside and out as well as baseline knowledge of other classes in the same role.
– Comes ready to raid and helps others if unprepared (Mats, knowledge of fights, and good attitude).
– Willing to do any mechanics assigned proficiently with no error.

Elite Raiders,
This is the new rank we will be adding to our roster. Elite Raiders will be fewer in numbers than any other rank and will serve as eyes, ears, mouths, and spirits of our GM/O core. This rank is intended for the few whom are as good or better than our core and go above and beyond what we would ask of a Senior Raider in regards to commitment and service. Here is what we expect in order for one to become an Elite Raider:

– 99%+ attendance.
– Knows class/classes that are being piloted inside and out as well as baseline knowledge of other classes in the same role as well as committing time outside/inside of raid to further your fellow raiders skills within their role.
– Comes ready to raid and helps others if unprepared (Mats, knowledge of fights, and good attitude).
– Willing to do any mechanics assigned proficiently with no error and helps others if they are struggling with anything they were assigned.

Being an Elite Raider is going above and beyond your core spot. Because it is treated this way we will also have our Elite Raiders participate in a new Reward Point system we will be implementing. As an Elite Raider you will be giving suggestions as well as reasons as to why you think someone has gone above and beyond in any aspect of the game to help the guild, and thus rewarded for it.

Higher up ranks such as SR and ER can be demoted at any time. This is a new policy that we will be going with is an attempt to make the distance between ranks more fluid and promotion to be something to strive for. ER will be demoted if skill decreases and/or performance is shaky for a couple nights in a row. SR will be demoted if performance is shaky for a raid week or if performance declines. As the ranks get higher your spot becomes more sensitive, meaning that few mistakes are grounds for demotion higher up while smaller mistakes are to be expected at lower ranks. Regardless, these discussions are to be made by the GM/O core. We will no longer be tolerating unexcused absences. That being said it is each raiders responsibility to get contact info from at least one of the Os or GM in order to inform someone in the case of an emergency. We understand that real life can happen but the sooner we know the better. Not waking up to your alarm, falling asleep, going to a party instead of raid, etc. are not good reasons to miss raid; reasons such as these will be marked as unexcused.

Reward Points,
I know a lot of you are probably wondering...”WTF are these reward points and how do I get them?!” I'm glad you asked! Reward Points, or RP, will be a way for us as a core to reward those raiders who put time into our guild outside of raid or even inside raid. Examples of some of the ways you can be awarded are thus:

– Contributes to the guild via mats, BoEs, and profs.
– Helps others outside of raid gearing up mains and main alts(if split runs exist) to be raid ready for the first tier and tiers prior to the first.
– Helps better another raid in an extraordinary way or improves one's self in an extraordinary way.
– Provides in depth research of a specific fight or mechanic that was overwhelmingly helpful to another raid or the raid a s a whole.

The list could go on and on. The main point is that these are acts or feats that will not be done regularly but when our raiders push themselves in a way that we don't normally see. Why do you want these points? Simple, at the end of each month we will be rewarding the person with the highest RP via some sort of currency or vanity item that is well worth their time.
